Essen based Artist, kØnkav, is a DJ which sound is characterized by a driving
groove reaching from house elements over peak time and raw techno all the way to
deep hypnotic sounds. Continuously digging for new unique pieces adding to his
repertoire, he is trying to create an auditory journey you won’t forget.
From young age kØnkav had a big fascination with electronic music, thanks to the
influence of his mother.
He first started in front of the DJ booth, dancing for hours and losing himself in
music. It didn’t take long until the idea of becoming a DJ came to his mind,
expressing himself through music to share his love with music with others.
Back in 2019 he first got in touch with a mixer, trying it out and falling in love with the
art of mixing. Soon he purchased his own DJ setup and from then on it was clear, he
found his passion.
Starting to play his DJ sets on warehouse-like private raves, kØnkav had is first gig
back in 2021 at the Flowers & Bees fetish party (Essen), where he soon became one
of the resident techno DJs.
His previous gigs include NurBoese at Helios37 (Cologne), Schamlos at zakk
(Dusseldorf), Gear’n’Dance at Eloria (Bottrop) and the Levitation rave in Dortmund.
